Our lifeguards work extremely hard all summer long, which is why we want to SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS — we appreciate you and all that you do! So it’s decided… mark your calendars — We’re giving you a whole week of praise, July 22 – July 28!
American Pool’s Lifeguard Appreciation Week is an annual week-long series of events — each office hosts parties, provides delicious summer refreshments, activities, and other fun events for our guards. We love using this time to say THANK YOU with contests and prizes to go along with free ice-cream, lifeguard olympics, and more for being the amazing #americanpool employees that they are!
Attending a local Lifeguard Appreciation Week event is a great way for you to spend time and get to know other American Pool team members — this is truly an important part of building our American Pool culture!

Calling all lifeguard-artists! Want to collaborate with our design team and see your fellow lifeguards nationwide rockin’ your design all summer long?! Submit your t-shirt designs by Friday, June 29 (Ah! That’s 4 days away!). Not only will your design be seen across the country, but the winner will also receive a $50 Amazon gift card and an American Pool swag bag!
Design Specifications:
- A PDF, EPS, or JPG file of your final design
- Include “Lifeguard Appreciation Week”
- 1-2 color design only
